Hidden Valley Drag Racing Association

Previously known as the King Cobra Rod & Custom Club, the Hidden Valley Drag Racing Association was formed in 1969 with the objective of promoting Hot Rodding and Drag Racing in the Top End. After racing on a disused World War II runway beside the Stuart Highway for many years, they found a new home at the Hidden Valley Raceway in 1985.

The club operates during the dry season which happily coincides with winter in the south, meaning that some of the nation’s best dragsters are frequently seen competing in Darwin.
