Arunga Park Speedway complex is on the north side of Alice Springs, just take the Stuart Highway heading towards Darwin, and turn right at Herbert Heritage Drive that leads to the Old Telegraph Station and then turn left into the speedway complex.

Founded in 1965, the Arunga Park Speedway Association (APSA) operates one of Australia’s few 4 Star Speedway Australia-certified tracks, enabling the club to host national-level competitions. The 402m clay track attracts prominent competitors across various speedway classes.

The facility is situated at Arunga Park, north of town via the Stuart Highway and Herbert Heritage Drive. In recent years, APSA received approximately $1.8 million in government funding to improve infrastructure. Upgrades included a pit area expansion, wall rebuild, lighting tower installation, and improvements to the Alice Springs Karting Club’s shared canteen and staff tower.
