Northline Speedway hosts seven speedway sections. The venue is located at the Hidden Valley Motor Sports Complex, Darwin, N.T. and is one of six motorsport disciplines sharing the 94 hectare Complex. The Complex is situated approximately 12 kilometres from the Darwin Central Business District area and is also within a 10 minute drive to Darwin's International Airport.
The racing track measures 402 metres, one metre off the pole line. It's racing surface consists primarily of a clay base mixture and measures 16 metres wide on the two straights and 18 metres on all corners. The venue has a seperate entry and exit gate for access to the pit area. The venue boasts a two story Control Tower which houses an adminstrative office on the lower floor and a race officials, timekeepers and announcer booth on the top floor. The Northline venue accesses to a pit area capable of housing up to 40 transporters. A seperate members car park and members airconditioned bar are also available. Located in a natural amphitheatre, up to 8,000 spectators are afforded a natural elevated view (around 75%) of the racing area.
