MOTORSPORTS NT OBJECTIVES

The objects and purposes of 
the Association are as follows: 

 To ensure that motor sport in the Northern Territory is carried out in a manner which
 secures and enhances the safety of participants, officials, spectators and the public and 
which allows the sport to be competitive and fair.

To promote and protect motor sport within the relevant national rules in relation to the varying
 types of motor sport conducted throughout the Northern Territory

To coordinate and guard the interests of Affiliated Clubs and actively encourage 
Affiliated Clubs to be involved in the business of the Association.

OUR ROLE

• Funding assistance to affiliated clubs for NT titles

• Funding assistance to affiliated clubs for National Titles

• Travel assistance for affiliated clubs to attend National Titles and other major Interstate Events

• Assistance with Grass Roots Funding applications

• Assistance with Facility Development applications

• Advice for Business Plans and Constitutional requirements

• Website Exposure

• Motorsports Calendar

• Promotion of affiliated motorsport clubs

• Marketing strategies

OUR VISION FOR THE FUTURE

• Affiliation of ALL motorsport clubs in the Northern Territory

• Appropriate and equitable funding arrangement for Peak Body operations and resourcing

• Ongoing support to all clubs affiliated with Motorsports NT

• Ensuring that MotorSports NT continues to provide strong representation to Government

• Best practice on OH&S, event and club mangement principles

• International standard facilities

• Securing and growing our own business
